About the Program
East High School is proud to offer cheer. The Iowa High School Athletic Association and Iowa High School Girls Athletic Union sanction our high school sports. Our teams compete in the Missouri River Conference. Through involvement in athletics, students learn valuable life skills, including teamwork, leadership, and commitment.
East High Cheer is full of fun, brilliant, and school-spirited young ladies.
The cheerleaders promote East High School spirit by participating in school pep rallies and cheering on our Black Raiders at football, basketball, and wrestling events. Our younger black raiders are encouraged to learn and join in our cheers at Raiders Together events hosted by East High.
