Join us for East High School's “A Night at Gatsby’s” Prom festivities on Saturday, May 6, 2023!
- The Grand March will take place in the East High School Auditorium from 4:00-5:00 pm and participants are asked to gather in the Media Center at 3:30 pm.
- The Prom Dance will take place in the Yockey Room at Morningside Univerisity from 8:00-11:00 pm. EHS seniors attending must meet the eligibility requirements listed below.
- After Prom will take place at East High School from 10:45 pm-2:30 am.
Additional Details:
- Only eligible EHS Seniors are invited to attend the Grand March and Prom Dance. All eligibility requirements must be met by Monday, May 1, 2023. Requirements include passing grades in all subjects and resolving all absences, tardies, and disciplinary issues.
- All non-EHS guests wishing to attend the Prom Dance must complete the EHS Guest Permission Form and be approved by school staff prior to purchasing tickets. Every EHS Senior, guest, and their respective parent/legal guardian must complete and sign the Accident Waiver and Release of Liability, to purchase Prom Dance tickets and wristbands, or Grand March and/or After Prom passes.
- Prom Dance tickets/wristbands are $20/each and will be available for purchase from May 1-5.
- Ms. Alisha Elder will be selling tickets/wristbands in the EHS Main Office during EHS lunch times. Mrs. Perla Alarcon-Flory/Mrs. Stacy Junge will be selling tickets/wristbands at the EHS Commons from 2:30-4:00 pm.
- Students will only receive tickets/passes to Grand March, Prom, and/or After Prom upon submission of the above-mentioned forms.

Lastly,
EHS is still taking contributions for gifts and prizes for our beloved
seniors. Parents/Guardians can drop off or mail a check to the EHS
office, send money with their child to school, or Venmo money through
the EHS After Prom Venmo account @ehap23..
