East High's Show Choir Will Celebrate 30th Anniversary of Sing All About It on March 4

Sioux City, Iowa -  Sioux City East High Choirs will host their “Sing All About It!” show choir invitational on Saturday, March 4  at East High School.  15 middle school and high school show choirs from the tri-state area will compete on the main stage during this event.  A three-time FAME Aspire nominated competition and national Aspire Award Winner in 2019, Sing All About It! is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Choirs are competing for the overall grand champion trophy which will be awarded after finals on Saturday night.

The middle school show choir competition begins at 8:30 am, with Sioux City East Middle’s Sparks Show Choir opening the day at 8:10 am. East Middle’s Evolution Show Choir will conclude the middle school competition and perform in exhibition at 11 am.

The high school competition begins at noon.  Preliminary awards for both middle school and high school will be held at 5 pm. Six high school show choirs will move to the finals starting at 6:30 pm with final awards being presented about 10 pm.

East High’s three show choirs will perform in exhibition only as the hosts of this event. Entourage, the all-male show choir in their second competition season, performs at 1:15 pm. Prestige, the treble-voice show choir also in their second competition season, performs just before prelim awards at 4:30 pm. And The Headliners, the varsity show choir who has garnered more than 50 Grand Champion awards over 34 years of competing, will take the stage before final awards are announced at approximately 9:30 pm.                                                                                             

In addition to providing a quality competition for middle and high school show choirs, Sing All About It! is also the largest fundraising event for the East High Show Choir program.  Admission is $15 and $10 for students with ages 5 and under free.  Concessions are available all day offering attendees breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a variety of snacks.  The public is encouraged to come out to enjoy an inexpensive day of musical entertainment showcasing some of the most talented singers, dancers, and show band musicians in the region.
